Melinda O'Neill – Diploma in Community Services
Hi my name is Mel and I am the Director at Kindy Patch Elermore Vale. I stated my Early Childcare career in 2003 when I began studying my Diploma and working as a Casual in the Industry. Through my time I have moved forward from a Casual Child Care worker to a Room leader, 2IC and now the Director a Kindy Patch Elermore vale since 2010.
I believe that the first 5 years of a Child’s life is the most important and feel that as an Early Childhood Educator we can enhance and develop their education through our programs, educational activities, social interaction and of course fun and laughter with a great group of children and educators. Children are my passion and always have been since I decided many years ago that this was my career choice. Kindy patch at Elermore Vale is a fun, enjoyable and exciting place each and every day which makes my job enjoyable and different every day.
I have a majority of interest including Netball, renovating my home and spending time with family, friends and my boxer dogs. I am proud and feel happy in my career choice and spend each and every day striving harder to enhance my education on different and new exciting ways to help each individual child and family in my service.
